That’s exactly what The Woodlands looked like when Standard Pacific pulled out. But this Rock Hill neighborhood is making a comeback. D. R. Horton and Essex Homes are the two homebuilders taking over. It’s a little early to tell, but I don’t think there will be a huge drop off in the price point. Maybe a little more with Essex than D.R. but it sure is better than a field of poles. There is talk of adding a cabana and a recreation area with a pool. And when I say that it’s close to schools I mean that India Hook Elementary is right on the grounds. It is one of the newer Rock Hill schools. So all in all I think The Woodlands in Rock Hill is a good choice if you are looking to buy new.
