The Village at Parkside, a development of Gandy Communities Inc., is Gaston County's first traditional neighborhood project. This mixed use community in Gastonia, will eventually host approximately 1400 homes that will include single family homes, townhomes and condos; with plans that will also include a 95,000-square-foot town center and a YMCA. It's a neighborhood that will provide goods and services that's like the hometowns of years past.
Parkside will feature walking trails and green space linked to nearby Martha Rivers Park, which will anchor the neighborhood into the community. Residents of Parkside will feel like they're living in a park. Prices for homes in the initial phase are in the $140,000s to $220,000s, but houses in the $400,000-to-$600,000 range will eventually follow. Condominiums and offices are planned for the second and third floors of that area, which will feature street-level retail.
Parkside is also close enough to the sister cities of Belmont, Mount Holly, Uptown Charlotte, Lake Wylie, and Mountain Island to provide an easy commute to work or recreation. You'll love the charm and appeal this community has to offer. |
